Helicopters are attack and transport rotorcraft: Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-24/35, Mi-8 and others. Helicopters shot down or destroyed on the ground are counted once confirmed.

The figure is cumulative: each report adds the losses confirmed over the previous day to the total since 24 February 2022, and later corrections by the General Staff replace earlier values.
